Schley Community Foundation, Inc. was organized in 2003 with a long-term goal of building a permanent endowment to benefit the residents of Schley County. As a 501©3 Public Charity, donations to all projects sponsored by the Foundation are tax-exempt.

The Foundation holds the Joseph and Imogene Scholarship Endowment which has awarded a graduate of Schley County High School a scholarship every year since 2008.
In April of 2018 the Foundation culminated work on the Schley Community Playground at the Ellaville-Schley County Recreational Complex. The Foundation’s General Endowment was used along with generous donations from individuals, businesses and charitable organizations to fund this project.

Officers of the Foundation include Sue Hite, Kathy Bruer, John Greene and Linda Adams.

Ellaville-Schley County Chamber of Commerce would like to thank The Foundation for it’s support.
